About

This document is not final.

What follows is scaffolding, not reviewed legal text, and nothing on this page should be relied on. It must be replaced before Library & Co. accepts a real student.

Library & Co.Library & Co.

Library & Co. is a marketplace for IB Diploma Programme students. Teachers and IB alumni publish courses — recorded classes, notes, and past-paper sessions — and students buy the ones they need, subject by subject.

Applications and courses are reviewed before they go public

Teachers apply and are approved by hand before they can publish anything, and every course is read by an admin before it reaches the catalog. That is the point of the platform: an IB student should not have to guess whether the material they are buying is any good.

Two things to be clear about. Approving a teacher means a person read their application — it is not a check of their qualifications against any register. And a teacher's profile text, student reviews and discussion posts are not reviewed in advance: they appear straight away, are screened automatically for abuse and contact details, and are dealt with afterwards if someone reports them.

Teaching on Library & Co.

If you teach IB subjects or have been through the Diploma yourself, you can apply to teach. You set your own content mix, structure and pricing, subject to review.

Not affiliated with the IBO

Library & Co. is an independent marketplace and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). "IB", "International Baccalaureate" and "IB Diploma Programme" are trademarks of the IBO; we use them only to describe the curriculum our teachers' courses cover.

To be written: Who is behind Library & Co. — the founders, the company once it is registered, and where it is based.
