Accounts

You need an account to buy or take a course. Your username is public; your email is not shown to other users. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Purchases and access

Courses are bought individually — there is no subscription. A completed purchase gives you access to that course's content for as long as the course remains on the platform. Prices are in USD. Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.

Wallet credits

Credits can be spent on courses and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash. Credits are spent oldest-batch-first and expire; the expiry that applies to a batch is the one shown on that batch in your wallet, fixed when it was earned, and it is not changed afterwards by any later policy change.

Content rules

Reviews and discussion posts are filtered before they are saved. Posts that hit the blocking list are refused outright; others may be flagged for a moderator. Emails, phone numbers and social handles are automatically masked in discussions.

You can report a discussion message from the course player, using the report control on the message itself. For anything else — a review, a course, or another person's conduct — email support@libraryandco.com and a moderator will look at it. Either way a human decides, and may dismiss the report, delete the content, warn the author, or suspend or ban the account.

Suspension and bans

If your account is suspended or banned, you lose access to courses you have already paid for while that status lasts. Being banned does not automatically refund anything. You can still sign in and use the password-reset flow, and the suspension screen is where any appeal starts.

Teachers: no off-platform recruiting

If you teach on Library & Co., you may not use the platform to move students off it. That includes sharing contact details or external links in course content, notes, discussions or your public profile, and soliciting students to buy from you elsewhere.

Breaking this can cost you your teaching account and any unpaid earnings you are holding at the time.

We are not the International Baccalaureate

Library & Co. is an independent platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the International Baccalaureate Organization. “IB”, “International Baccalaureate” and “Diploma Programme” are their marks, used here only to describe the curriculum these courses cover. Nothing you buy here is an official IB product, and nothing here is set, assessed or moderated by the IB.

Course content belongs to the teacher

Teachers keep ownership of what they publish. Buying a course gives you a personal licence to watch and read it — not to download, copy, re-upload, share or resell it. Videos and notes are watermarked with the account viewing them.

If you publish here, you are telling us the material is yours to publish. By uploading a video, a set of notes, a thumbnail or anything else, you confirm that you own it or have the right to use it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's copyright. Past papers, textbook extracts and other people's worksheets are not yours to republish, and uploading them can cost you your teaching account and any unpaid earnings you are holding.

Reporting a copyright problem

If you believe something on Library & Co. infringes your copyright, email support@libraryandco.com with a link to the material, a description of the work you say it copies, and how we can reach you. The in-app report control is for messages in a discussion; it cannot be used to report a course, so please do not rely on it for this.

Teachers: what you earn and when you are paid

Your commission rate is agreed when your application is approved, and it is recorded on each sale at the moment that sale happens. If your rate changes later, the new rate applies only to sales made after the change — orders already taken keep the rate that was in force when they were taken.

Payouts are made by hand. Your earnings accumulate as a balance you can see on your earnings page, and an admin records each payment against it. There is no automatic disbursement and no fixed payout date.

Closing your account

You can ask us to close your account from your settings page. That files a request; it does not delete anything by itself. A person reviews it, and your account keeps working until they act on it. We will tell you what was done.

Some records outlive an account by necessity: an order is an accounting record, and a discussion others replied to is part of a conversation that is not only yours. What is kept and for how long is covered in the Privacy Policy.

Minimum age

You must be at least 16 to create an account. We ask you to confirm this when you sign up, and we record that you confirmed it and the minimum that applied at the time. We do not ask for your date of birth and do not store one.

We take your word for it — this is a confirmation, not a check. If you are under 16, do not create an account.
